Ingredients
Loteprednol Etabonate 0.5% E/D
Loteprednol Etabonate is a type of corticosteroid, or steroid. Its main job is to reduce inflammation, which includes swelling, redness, itching, and pain in the eye. It does this by blocking the production of certain natural chemicals in the body, called prostaglandins, that trigger inflammatory responses. By calming down this inflammation, it helps to relieve discomfort and supports the healing process, especially after eye surgery or in cases of severe irritation.
Instructions for Use
SPIKE
Tighten the cap on the nozzle as shown.
PIERCE
The spike in the cap will pierce the tip of the vial.
DISPENSE
Dispense drops with gentle pressure. Replace the cap after every use.
Warning
If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult a ophthalmologist (Eye Doctor).
Do not touch the nozzle tip as this may contaminate the Suspension.
Use the Suspension within one month after opening the container. If the Suspension becomes dark brown, it should be discarded.
